Brake Shoes 250x40 – KNOTT 402677.001 replacement – is a complete kit for KNOTT drum brakes with a drum inner diameter of 250 mm and a shoe width of 40 mm , designed for trailers with axles with a permissible load of 1800 kg . The kit restores the system's effectiveness when braking becomes uneven, stopping distances increase, or the linings become worn or overheated. The kit includes brake shoes and all necessary mounting springs (retaining and return), facilitating full service replacement.

Brake shoes are friction elements that work inside the drum. During braking, they expand outward and press their lining against the drum surface, creating the friction needed to decelerate .
