This set of four UNITRAILER 0.3 m / 50 mm / 4 t trailer harnesses is designed to secure vehicle wheels during transport on a trailer. Each harness is made of 50 mm wide orange polyester webbing and is 0.3 m long . Both ends feature reinforced loops that allow the harness to be connected to a suitable cargo strap.

Four independent harnesses allow for individual wheel mounting for the transported vehicle. Combined with two-part transport straps with a tensioner, they create a practical system for securing the vehicle on the trailer platform, limiting the possibility of the vehicle moving during transport.

Mounting the wheel on the trailer

The harness is threaded through the longer section of the lashing strap that encircles the wheel , and then the entire system is tensioned using the section of the strap equipped with a tensioner. This solution utilizes two attachment points on the trailer platform , to which the lashing strap hooks are attached.

The harness system is an alternative to securing the wheel with a three-point belt. It securely grips the wheel and connects it to the anchor points located on the transport surface.

Each harness has a 4000 daN load-bearing capacity . This arrangement distributes the load between the two working parts of the strap, allowing for stable use of the harness as part of the wheel mounting system.

Each harness is terminated with reinforced loops on both ends for use with a cargo belt. The maximum extensibility of the webbing is approximately 7% , ensuring it maintains its required properties when working under load.
