    UNITRAILER steel rim 5.5Ix8"H2 4x100 ET:-2

UNITRAILER 5.5I×8 H2 ET-2 steel rim This robust rim is designed for wheels used primarily on light trailers, transport carts, and specialized utility equipment. The rim has an 8-inch mounting diameter and a width of 5.50 inches , ensuring stable tire seating and proper wheel performance in everyday use.

It is designed for tires with an 8-inch mounting diameter , such as 16×6.50-8, 16×7.50-8, 18×6.50-8, 18×7.50-8, 18×8.50-8, or 20×8.00-8, as well as other models with the "-8" designation designed for 8-inch rims. Thanks to the 5.50-inch rim width, it will work best with tires of similar width, provided you follow the tire manufacturer's recommendations.

The rim is made of steel, providing high mechanical strength and resistance to workloads. It features a paint coating that protects the surface from corrosion and environmental influences. This makes the rim suitable for utility applications where the wheel operates in variable terrain.

This model has a 4x100 bolt pattern , meaning the rim has four mounting holes spaced around a 100mm diameter circle. Bolt spacing is a key parameter when selecting a rim to ensure proper fitment to the vehicle's hub.

This rim is designed primarily for light trailers, transport trucks, and work equipment , not for standard passenger cars. Its small diameter and wide width make it suitable for boat trailers, scooter trailers, low-bed trailers, industrial, agricultural, and orchard trucks, as well as lightweight flatbed trailers and compact caravans. It allows for the use of wide tires, which improve stability, facilitate loading, and reduce wheel sinkage in soft surfaces such as grass, sand, or agricultural terrain.

Rim offset (ET) This parameter defines the distance between the rim's mounting surface and its axis of symmetry, expressed in millimeters. The ET value determines how deeply the rim sits in the wheel arch. With a positive ET, the rim sits deeper in the wheel arch, while with a negative ET, it protrudes further outward. Correctly selected offset is crucial for vehicle handling stability, avoiding friction with suspension components, and ensuring the vehicle's attractive appearance.

    central hole

Rim center hole This is the hole located in the center of the rim that fits onto the vehicle's hub. Its diameter must match the hub diameter to ensure the rim is properly seated and centered on the vehicle. The center hole plays a crucial role in transferring loads from the rim to the hub, which affects driving stability and safety. If the center hole is too large, hub centric rings are used to ensure a proper fit.

Rim flange profile refers to the shape and design of the rim flange that contacts the tire. An "I" flange has a specific shape and dimensions that ensure a stable tire seat on the rim, especially in applications where maintaining the tire in place under heavy loads is crucial. An "I" profile is less common than a "J" profile, but is used in specific applications requiring greater precision in tire mounting or other specialized vehicle handling requirements.

    rim cross-section profile

The rim cross-section profile refers to the shape of the inner part of the rim, which includes both the flange and the surface on which the tire rests. This profile is crucial for proper tire seating, mounting, and overall fitment to the vehicle's hub. The H2 rim cross-section profile is a double-hump rim. This profile provides even greater tire protection against detachment. This is especially important for sporty, off-road vehicles, or those subjected to higher lateral loads.
