Set of two UNITRAILER 3m/25mm/1t transport belts with tensioner and two 0.45m harnesses for securing the motorcycle
Set of two motorcycle lashing straps with UNITRAILER 3m/25mm/1t tensioner and two 0.45 m harnesses
A set of two UNITRAILER transport belts and two harnesses is a complete solution for securing a motorcycle. The whole is packed in a practical bag that makes storage and transport easier. Each grey transport belt consists of two parts: a shorter one with a tensioner (ratchet) and a hook, and a longer strap also finished with a hook. The total length of the belt, including the buckle, is 3 meters, and the width of 25 mm provides an adequate pressure surface. The belts have a strength of 1 ton (1000 daN) on the strap, which, combined with two 0.45 meter long harnesses, is ideal for safely transporting a motorcycle on a trailer or in a delivery van. The ratchet mechanism allows for quick and easy securing of the motorcycle, minimizing the risk of it moving or being damaged during transport. Additionally, the harness with eyelets provides even greater stability of the attachment, making this set an ideal choice for safe transport of a motorcycle.
Transport belts are an essential element when it comes to safe transport of goods - they help to stably immobilize various loads on trailers, flatbeds or in transport vehicles. They come in various lengths and strengths, which allows their strength to be adjusted to the weight and size of the transported load. Well-chosen belts protect the goods from shifting and damage, while increasing the safety of all road users. IMPORTANT: belts are used only to secure the load, not to suspend it.
UNITRAILER cares about the quality of its belts, which are manufactured from solid materials that are resistant to stretching. All metal elements - hooks and the tensioning mechanism - are made of durable, anti-corrosion steel, which allows for safe and long-term use in various weather conditions. Each belt has a legible label, protected by foil, with information in Polish and English. For convenience and safety, the maximum working load has also been engraved on the buckle and hooks, which allows for quick checking of the belt parameters even in the event of damage to the label.
Tensile strength (LC)
The 1 ton (1000 daN) strength indicates the maximum load that the strap can withstand when wrapped around the load or attached to the floor on two opposite sides of the load. This method of attachment allows for stronger and more stable securing of the load, as the force is distributed over both parts of the strap, reducing the risk of damage at higher loads.
Straight Tension Strength (LC)
The strap has a simple tension strength of 0.5 tons (500 daN), which is the maximum force that the strap can transfer when point-secured, i.e. directly from point to point. This value is usually half the strength of the strapping and determines the maximum safe load when the strap is simply tensioned. It should be remembered that to ensure safe transport, the load should be secured symmetrically, which means that the minimum number of straps secured in a simple arrangement is 2 pieces. This solution ensures even distribution of forces and stable immobilization of the load during transport.
Standard Tension Force (STF)
The tension force is 120 daN, which means that the belt presses the load with a force equivalent to 120 kg, effectively securing it from shifting during transport. This is a key parameter of the transport belt defining the pressing force that can be obtained with standard belt tension using a tensioner (ratchet). This parameter is particularly important when planning load securing, because it informs about the actual force immobilizing the load when using standard belt tension, which increases the safety of the load during transport.
Standard Hand Force (SHF)
The manual tension force is 50 daN, which is the force that must be applied to the tensioner to properly secure the load. This value ensures ergonomics and safety of work, allowing for the correct tension of the belt without the risk of excessive effort. The SHF parameter is important when selecting a belt, because it indicates the optimal manual force required to effectively and stably immobilize the load.
Maximum stretchability
Maximum elongation is the percentage increase in the length of the belt under full load. It is a value expressed as a percentage, indicating how much the belt can stretch from its original length. Maximum elongation, usually around 7%, allows the belt to absorb shocks and absorb sudden changes in force during transport, which additionally protects the load from damage.
