3M™ Diamond Grade™ Conspicuity Vehicle Marking Tapes Series 983S in red, 55 mm (5.5 cm) wide and 50 m long, are designed for marking tankers and vehicles with challenging, irregular shapes , significantly increasing their visibility on the road. The 983S Series' design provides excellent reflectivity and angularity , ensuring the vehicle remains highly visible both day and night, even from wide viewing angles. Designed for application to a variety of surfaces, the tape offers a professional solution for specialized and heavy-duty transport.

The tape guarantees a significantly higher reflectivity than traditional films. A strong, pressure-activated adhesive allows for permanent and secure adhesion to surfaces without the need for additional preparations. The PVC-free construction and solvent-free bonding make the product more environmentally friendly.

The tape is approved and marked in accordance with EU Regulation ECE 104 for reflective materials , meeting the highest requirements for vehicle contour markings. It is characterized by very high resistance to external factors : rain, snow, UV, dirt, corrosion, grime, and aging. It withstands contact with mild acids, detergents, oils, and fuel. A temperature range of -34°C to +94°C and resistance to pressure washing (up to 80 bar, 60°C, min. 30 cm distance) ensure long-lasting functionality. Its service life is up to 8 years .
