A common problem with boat trailer brakes is the deposition of sea salt residues. This requires regular rinsing with fresh water, otherwise they will be exposed to corrosion and damage. This can be prevented by connecting a water hose to the mechanisms in question and flushing the brakes regularly.

The brake drum flush kit for boat trailers can be used for the following AL-KO axle types: 1637/2051/2361/3062. Virtually every braked axle by AL-KO allows for the connection of the flush kit.

To start the flow within the flush kit, simply insert the hose with running water to the connector and rinse for about 5 minutes.
