AL-KO 2.8VB1 overrun device with AK351 hitch for 3500kg trailer with square drawbar
AL-KO 2.8VB1 overrun device with AK351 hitch for 3500kg trailer with square drawbar
The 2.8VB1 overrun device from AL-KO is a versatile solution designed for braked trailers and flatbed trailers with a 120 mm square drawbar, with a total weight of 2500 kg to 3500 kg. It is characterized by a maximum permissible vertical load of 150 kg, which ensures optimal load distribution between the trailer and the towing vehicle. The 2.8VB1 device is equipped with an AK 351 ball hitch, which ensures a stable and safe connection to the vehicle, and is compatible with the AL-KO 2361 braking mechanism.
The overrun device is an advanced solution that significantly improves the safety and comfort of driving with a trailer or tow truck. Thanks to its use, it is possible to shorten the stopping distance and maintain a stable driving track when braking the set. The device automatically brakes the towed vehicle, cooperating with the car's braking system, which supports its operation and affects the smoothness of traffic. Using the overrun device not only increases road safety, but also contributes to reducing the wear of the braking system in the towing vehicle. Additionally, this device is also extremely functional when stationary, enabling effective blocking of the vehicle from rolling forwards or backwards.
AK 351 ball hitch
The installed AK 351 ball hitch from AL-KO ensures a solid and safe connection to the towing vehicle. Made of durable cast iron, it ensures maximum durability and resistance to loads. Additionally, the hitch is equipped with advanced safety systems: a hitch wear indicator, informing about the need to replace elements, a correct coupling indicator, ensuring the certainty of a correct connection, and protection against incorrect coupling, eliminating the risk of accidental disconnection while driving.
Anti-corrosion protection
The ramp device with a hot-dip galvanized steel housing uses advanced anti-corrosion protection technology. The galvanizing process creates a durable coating on the entire surface of the element, effectively protecting against rust, corrosion and mechanical damage. The housing withstands extreme weather conditions, including moisture, road salt and temperature fluctuations, which is crucial for devices constantly exposed to difficult road conditions. Thanks to this protection, the device maintains its properties for a long time, minimizing the need for maintenance and replacement. This translates into long-term savings and reliability during trailer operation.
